The company sells product and
support services through non-exclusive, independent dealerships
motivating dealer employees by offering an incentive trip
(for two) for achieving objectives established in five
areas of special emphasis.
Cypress helped unify
the company's introduction of goals by adding an eye-catching
logo and creating a "launch kit" with standardized program
visuals to announce the travel award. Monthly newsletters
followed, spotlighting key achievements throughout the
year.
Cypress recommended chartering an entire cruise ship to
accommodate the estimated 750 qualifiers and spouses (1,500
total). Cypress suggested the Super Bowl weekend as a
sailing date for a 3-night cruise from Miami. Working
with the cruise line, Cypress customized the entire on-board
experience altering dress codes and meal times-even replacing
the ship's entertainment by hiring "A List" talent
to perform for the group!
Key suppliers were invited aboard to exhibit during a
short "trade fair" and senior company executives delivered
a stylized corporate presentation in the ship's theater
during a business session. The weekend concluded with
a live feed of the Super Bowl to the ship's main stage
on Sunday during a day at sea while food & beverages were
served!
The company had never
considered a cruise in its 20-year history of offering
this incentive. Cypress brought the project well under
budget due to the overwhelming value involved with cruising.
Cypress also surveyed all participants-including exhibitors-and
recorded one of the client's highest ratings ever for
the travel experience overall . . . 96% favorable!
